The following are quotes from user reviews on IMDB:

”This movie is the classic old tale of two men trying to construct an Egyptian goddess for their castrated uncle from the severed body parts of young women.”

-rhyatt1

”Michael and George, owners of the best vegetarian restaurant in their small city, have an interesting social life. Where most people go home and spend time with their loved ones after work, Michael and George hang around with their deceased uncle.”

-b. koski

”I played a zombie in BLOOD DINER and believe me when I tell you, it was such a bizarre and sickening experience that I plan to devote an entire chapter to the nightmare in my memoirs.”

-hazmat63

”Unfortunately, because of their similarities, Blood Diner will always be compared to Blood Feast, and Blood Diner is just not that caliber of a film.”

”If you have questionable moral values you will love this.”

-James

”In this universe, a ventriloquist dummy at a bar is all alive, and no one is surprised.”

-blueberry_mustard_101

“It has the best use of sucker punching ever! Two cops stand in a room full of dismembered cheerleaders. The young “good looking” one makes an inappropriate remark so the older cop totally sucker punches him to teach him a lesson. Also, a beautiful scene in which one of the main characters beats the heck out of a customer until he vomits everywhere…Within a minute or so the same vomiting, beaten customer is given a free meal or something to compensate for what happened and he doesn’t even seem phased!”

“The Duel”

Two warriors rushed upon each other; their arms
Spattered the air with sparks and blood.
This fencing, this clashing of steel, are the uproar
Of youth when it becomes a prey to puling love.

The blades are broken! like our youth
My darling! But the teeth, the steely fingernails,
Soon avenge the sword and the treacherous dagger.
— O Fury of mature hearts embittered by love!

In the ravine haunted by lynxes and panthers,
Our heroes viciously clasping each other, rolled,
And their skin will put blooms on the barren brambles.

This abyss, it is hell, thronged with our friends!
Let us roll there without remorse, cruel amazon,
So the ardor of our hatred will be immortalized!

“The Abyss”

Pascal had his abyss that moved along with him.
— Alas! all is abysmal, — action, desire, dream,
Word! and over my hair which stands on end
I feel the wind of Fear pass frequently.

Above, below, on every side, the depth, the strand,
The silence, space, hideous and fascinating…
On the background of my nights God with clever hands
Sketches an unending nightmare of many forms.

I’m afraid of sleep as one is of a great hole
Full of obscure horrors, leading one knows not where;
I see only infinite through every window,

And my spirit, haunted by vertigo, is jealous
Of the insensibility of nothingness.
— Ah! Never to go out from Numbers and Beings!

The following are quotes from user reviews on IMBD:

”One murder scene which takes place in a drive-thru carwash is especially memorable.”

-nostrilingus

”Jack Taylor (Pieces ’81) was good as always. He always seems to play a mysterious weirdo, is that a hint towards his private life? Maybe!”

-Horror7777

”The scene of one woman having an ax stuck into her back and then pulled out is a nasty highlight, as is a very well done finger-chopping scene.”

-Slayrrr666

”Who was the computer’s voice? Man, was it Charlie? Or that creepy girl with the eyes? The lead girl was also kinda dumb: “I asked it if you were gay”. Who asks that to a computer?”

-broksterh

”On the darker side of things however, the killer does indeed look menacing dressed like a new age Michael Myers, complete with cape and hood.”

-RareSlashersReviewed

“There are some good scenes involving the discovery of bodies or just body parts and a scene involving blood dripping from the ceiling.”

-FieCrier

“The title suggests that the murders will be committed with an axe – and indeed they are, and this is the film’s strongest element.”

-The_Void
